Great local spot for noodles and dumplings. The dumpling had a variety of fillings , more than the usual pork and chive. It also tastes good with the peanut sauce

I had an amazing experience trying Fujian Shaxian food here. The dumplings were a standout—special, flavorful, and full of authentic Shaxian taste. The flavors were incredibly rich and comforting, reminding me of the origins of this cuisine. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the noodles were equally delightful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy the true essence of Shaxian flavor. A must-try for food lovers!

Pretty decent place to get combo rice, noodles, wontons and soup. I have been here a couple times. The braised chicken and duck legs were very tender and flavorful. Cannot recommend fried rice noodle. It tasted bland. Wonton in duck soup is very very good. Pig feet rice is ok. Not used to sweet and sour flavor potato in the combo. Pigs feet is tough on rice. Better to order it in a noodle. They serve super quick and service is excellent. However, the speed means food is precooked and could be cold when served.

We were curious about southern Chinese food and glad we tried the newest store in mascot central. The skin of the steamed dumplings was so thin, impressive! However for me the highlight was their wantons. The taste, texture and mouth feel was perfect. I’ll be back for more wantons and look forward to trying other dishes like their fried rice

The specialty wonton 扁肉are just like the ones I’ve had in Fujian. The skin are made out of beaten lean pork. The noodle is freshly made in house, the right shape and texture as traditional 沙县小吃! The duck herbal soup is tasty and light. The thin rice noodles are not heavy, and go well with the clear soups. Don’t forget to try their peanut sauce! The environment is clean, comfortable. Service is polite and very fast.

This takeout is simply amazing! Every dish is neatly packaged and steaming hot. The soup is clear and inviting, showing that it's made with plenty of ingredients. Just looking at it makes one's mouth water. It's a double treat for both the eyes and the taste buds!

They have taken over the spot where Wan Ramen used to be. The original branch is in Eastwood, and next is Chatswood, now Mascot! Overall, very pleased with the quality of food, the prices (very reasonable, $15pp for 4 dishes between 3 people with leftovers) - and I don't let service deter me when visiting Chinese restaurants, but service was very polite and courteous too. We tried a few dishes (the first 3 are Fujianese specialties): - Peanut sauce noodles ($9 large) - thick, flat egg noodles with an addictive sauce made of peanut paste/soy/lard (think peanut butter - savoury and sweet, roasty and aromatic). The sauce was really generous as well. I loved this - great dish for sharing as it can get a little heavy. I'd say the noodles could have been cooked just a moment less to be firmer. - Pork wonton soup ($9) - small, silky wontons with a bouncy pork filling. Nice, if a little bit salty. - 柳叶蒸饺 Steamed pork dumplings ($9) - fascinatingly, these look like Korean mandu from the shape and pleating to the dumpling skin to the steamer they bring it out on. The filling is pork, shallots and carrots - not particularly juicy but still tasty! - 酸菜牛肉细粉 Thin rice noodles with beef and pickled mustard greens ($17.50) - a hearty but healthy and comforting rice noodle soup with lots of beef and pickles.
